It was one of my favourite TV shows as a child. Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons.

As the members of Spectrum defended the Earth from the evil Mysterons, we follow Captain Scarlett and his cohort of agents fighting the invisible force.

Of course, being from the late 60s and early 70s, it was often possible to see the wires that moved the puppets who were filmed in what was called Supermarionation.

Imagine my surprise when I found out that Captain Scarlet had been updated with new production technology.

I’m not sure the new version works for me. You can tell it’s an animation, but as an animation it seems a little too perfect.
