Next year will mark thirty years since Jean Butler and Michael Flattley took on the world of dancing and put traditional Irish Dancing into the forefront across the globe.
Of course they didn’t do it on their own. They were backed and supported by an army of musicians, dancers and choreographers whose combined talents created something very special for the half-time show at the Eurovision Song Contest held in Dublin.
Nobody remembers the Eurovision Song Contest that year or who won.
Everyone. Yes, everyone remembers Riverdance!
