Around Durham City you will occasionally see a tall man, in a dark coat, wearing a black top hat. He is followed by a group of people who hang on his every word.

He’s not leading a funeral cortege, he is Andy Ross, Ghost Whisperer.

With a long time interest in in the paranormal, he first set up his YouTube channel providing on-location short videos of ghostly happenings in County Durham.

Not satisfied just to make videos, Andy decided to take his knowledge and experiences directly to the people and started his successful ghost walks of Durham City.

Starting off small, the walks quickly became popular, regularly running out of places on them. People asked for private walks for their own groups, while others asked for more walk dates to be added to the schedule.
